Arthur Gwatidzo has over 15 years working experience in the Information Technology sector. Arthur spent 10 years fulfilling full stack software development duties in different speciality industry fields such as the banking, agricultural, training and health sectors in both Zimbabwe and South Africa. Arthur also previously assumed responsibilities for network administration, database administration and training duties. Arthur has worked for leading international companies including Investec Bank, Accenture, Discovery, First National Bank (FNB), Pearson Education Group South Africa, Interfin Bank Zimbabwe amongst other companies. Arthur completed an Executive MBA in 2023 with University of California Los Angeles (UCLA Anderson School of Management) located in USA. Furthermore, Arthur currently holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computer Science at the Midlands State University in 2006.
Arthur also possess several international certifications for expert level Java Software Development with Oracle University (USA), and other professional certifications with SASTQB and the Disciplined Agile Consortium board. Arthur received a team accolade of first prize top achiever's award, awarded by FNB Bank for his team developing the best innovation app in the bank in 2016. This accolade offered Arthur and other FNB award winners an opportunity in the year 2017 to represent the FNB Bank group in conducting digital innovation research at Facebook, Google, SAP, Tesla, Western Union in California, USA. The results of the research helped to add innovation value to FNB for their Vision 2025 digital transformation strategy. A year after the Silicon Valley, the experience cumulated in Arthur forming Africa Software Architects (Proprietary Limited).
